Question:
What do you consider 'holistic treatment' to be?

Holistic treatment is when the person is understood as an individual. Everyone has a subtle and gross (or pyschic and physical) level of existence. When we understand these different levels of the person, and strike a balance between them, that is holistic.

There is a misconception that by applying various methods of treatment one is under going a holistic treatment. People will follow a little bit of Homeopathy, a little bit of Ayurveda, a little bit of Unani, etc., and they think this makes the treament holistic.

True holistic treatment must understand the individual as a person and create a balance between his subtle and gross levels of existence.
