Puja Sponsorship

The Bhaktivedanta Ashram invites devotees to participate in the daily pujas to Sri Sudarshana, Sri Jagannatha Baladeva Subhadra, and Sri Revati Balarama by sponsoring the following items used in the Lord's worship.

To donate online by credit card select the appropriate puja or seva below (descriptions at bottom of page). These transactions are 100% secure. All donations are tax deductible within the U.S.

Deepa Seva: Sponsorship of all the oil lamps, camphor offerings, and ghee wicks, for one month ($7).

Pushpa Seva: Sponsorship of all the flower garlands (daily 30 feet, plus 108 lotuses) used to decorate the Lord, for one month ($101).

Sugandha Seva: Sponsorship of all the incense, for one month ($11).

Naivedyam: Sponsorship of the morning food offerings to the Lord, for one month ($15).

Mangala Arati: Sponsorship of the early morning Mangala Arati puja for one day ($6). [You may specify which day you would like to sponsor and in whose name.]

Sudarshana Homa: The devotees of the Ashram will perform a fire sacrifice to Lord Sudarshana for the blessings of yourself and your family. Sacred ashes from the homa will be sent to you as prasadam. Following the sacrifice, sanctified food will be distributed to 100 needy children on your behalf. ($108) [You may specify the date you would like the homa performed and in whose name.]

Akhanda Dhuni

Panchamukha Hanuman Akhanda Homa: For 30 days, the devotees of the Ashram will daily perform a fire sacrifice to Sri Panchamukha Hanuman for the blessings of yourself and your family. Worship of Panchamukha Hanuman includes worship of Narasimha (for protection from ghosts and spirits), Garuda (for removal of poison and curing disease), Hayagriva (for influencing others and increasing fame), Varaha (for improvement of wealth and prosperity) and Hanuman (for destruction of enemies). The homa will be conducted in the ashram's Akhanda Dhuni, the continuously burning sacred fire. Holy ashes from the homa will be sent to you as prasadam. The sponsorship cost of $111 is the cost of the ghee involved in the homa for one month. Each day one kilo of ghee is required, at a cost of $3.65 (Rs. 165) per kilo.
